Please join us for a fabulous evening August 27 at L’Opossum, Style Weekly’s 2016 Restaurant of the Year. James Beard semifinalist chef de cuisine David Shannon will prepare a seven course tasting menu unveiling some new dishes for the menu and a special dessert created for the evening. Each course will be lovingly paired with a different beverage to compliment the dish. Also debuting will be a signature drink from Belle Isle Craft Spirits and the Georgie Porgie collaborating beers by Ardent Craft Ales and Center of the Universe Brewing in celebration of Virginia Pride and OutRVA.
Guests will have the opportunity to mingle with Chef David throughout the night, and special guests including RVA’s own Reann Ballslee will pepper the evening. Diners will also have the chance to win fabulous door prizes including an overnight stay at Quirk Hotel and breakfast at Maple & Pine Restaurant; an overnight stay at Jefferson Hotel Richmond with breakfast at Lemaire Restaurant; dinner at Pasture, Rappahannock Restaurant or Belle & James.
Proceeds will support OutRVA, the history-making campaign that welcomes LGBT travelers to Richmond. Since 2014 OutRVA has made headlines—including The New York Times—putting RVA on LBGT travelers’ radar.
