The photos I take come from a long line of inspiration and influences-Aesthetic, sexual, human. Since the first Daguerre type photos of 1839, photography has been employed by gay men to express their desires and affections.
I remember seeing classic images of the male form as a young teenager in muscle magazines ,Fashion adds and I knew something had been awakened In me and I had to capture the raw masculine beauty of the male form and express what I felt, and photography would let me do that. To explore what was defiant and rebellious and sexually aesthetic to me as a gay man and a photographer.
